Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with fiscal or accounting courses, OR an Associate's degree with fiscal or accounting courses and two years of relevant fiscal experience; OR four years of fiscal experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with general accounting processes.  Experience with Federal Uniform Guidance, particularly as it relates to not-for-profit entities.  Experience with computer database systems and Microsoft related applications, including Microsoft Excel.  Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and an ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will have fiscal responsibilities within the Bureau of HIV Ambulatory Care (BHACS). Duties will include: the review, processing and tracking of vouchers and budget modifications from contractors; ensuring compliance with approved budgets; resolving problems related to contract vouchers and budget modifications with contractors and contract managers; monitoring systems to track contractor spending; preparing reports on voucher activities; providing technical assistance to contractors; participating in monitoring site visits, as required; and maintaining systems for the management of initiatives which include a contract database. Other related duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
