High school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical experience.
Proficient with a variety of software packages, including MS Office (Word, Access, Excel and Powerpoint) in the preparation of documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. Familiarity with Outlook and utilizing electronic tracking systems. Excellent data entry, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. Experience scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel arrangements.
The Clerk II will provide clerical assistance to support the Opioid Surveillance Program, Office of Public Health Practice, including, but not limited to; typing documents and correspondence; maintaining filing and tracking systems; answering telephones; copying; faxing and scanning; maintaining schedules and calendars; and processing mail. Other related duties as assigned.
Grant funded position. Part-time (50%). Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
