Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and three year's experience in website design, development, and maintenance; OR Associates degree and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
The Web Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining custom websites. Specific duties will include: developing and supporting a variety of websites using Microsoft .NET tools and MSSQL; analyzing performance of websites and correcting deficiencies; troubleshooting and resolving third tier technical support issues; participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including: architecture specifications and design; website configuration; database design; programming; quality assurance; testing and implementation; and ongoing maintenance and support; developing and managing effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel; coordinating with co-workers and management to employ analysis and design techniques, including case analysis, object modeling and database/website schema design; developing and implementing new business processes to improve efficiency and enhance productivity; and researching and recommending new approaches for software development technology. Other related duties as assigned.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
