Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing or Communications and two years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree and four years of relevant experience OR six years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing and reviewing job descriptions. Bachelor's degree and two years of experience with compensation and job classification. Experience in a unionized environment. Experience with an online applicant tracking system. Experience preparing an Affirmative Action Plan. Experience conducting compensation surveys. Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). Knowledge of FLSA regulations and exemption tests. Proficiency with MS Excel, including vlookups and the creation of pivot tables.

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Administrator III will review requirement requests and assist with the development of job descriptions for new positions. Other duties will include: reviewing promotion requests; researching and recommending minimum qualifications that align with job responsibilities and grades; creating job titles, including a determination of appropriate job groups and census codes; performing internet searches for salary comparison and compensation trends; preparing data for salary planning and implementation of salary activity; and preparing the Corporation’s Affirmative Action Plans; including compensation analyses. Other related duties as assigned.
