High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience.
Experience making travel arrangements and processing vouchers. Experience with financial and/or purchasing systems. Data entry experience. Experience with email calendaring software (i.e. Outlook, Lotus Notes) and Microsoft Office software applications (i.e. Word, Excel). Experience compiling statistical reports. Experience managing multiple phone lines. Experience working on projects; from initiation to closure. Experience providing assistance to health care providers regarding eligibility, enrollment, and covered services for Medicaid or other similar programs.
The incumbent will provide support to the Director and Management staff of the Office of HIV Uninsured Care Programs. Specific duties will include: scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars; preparing correspondence, reports and other documents; arranging travel, meetings, conferences, and group educational presentations; answering phones and directing callers, as appropriate; providing support for purchasing activities; assisting in the enrollment of Primary Care, Pharmacy and Home Care providers; and collecting and entering demographic data into electronic systems. Other related duties as assigned.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
