Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Sciences, or related field AND one year of experience in data management/data analysis; OR Associates degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

The Data Administrator III will join a team of public health professionals to work on two grant-funded studies focusing on birth defects. The incumbent will be responsible for updating and maintaining already-developed MS Access databases and all phases of data administration for these projects. The Data Administrator will be responsible for reviewing medical record abstracts for data quality, as needed. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting regularly scheduled data replication and transfer to CDC and other research partners. In addition, the incumbent will provide technical support to database users. The Data Administrator will conduct other data-related tasks, as needed. All duties will be carried out in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators, project managers and project coordinator, as well as others involved in the project. Other related duties as assigned.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
