High school diploma or equivalent and two years of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience.
Strong background in data entry, quality review and handling of sensitive information. Experience organizing, sorting and merging health data. Experience identifying data entry errors and standardization of data. Experience working with confidential, health-related data. Proficiency using software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat to prepare documents, graphs, slides, presentations and spreadsheets. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy office environment. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
The incumbent will perform data entry including verifying information entered into the data system. The incumbent will assist in producing spreadsheets, graphs, presentations and charts using a variety of software and perform general office support tasks. The incumbent will participate in the bureau’s internal and external collaborations regarding persons with diagnosed HIV infection by assisting with communications and general office support tasks, including but not limited to: filing, faxing, photocopying, phone coverage, and secretarial backup for the program. Other duties as assigned.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
