A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of experience in research, analysis, and/or evaluation of health or human services-related programs or a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Experience in the collection and evaluation of data for review and analysis to address the needs of public health programs; experience working with large population-based data sets and/or disease registries; experience with the management of confidential data; experience with data analysis using SAS or other analytical software. At least two years of epidemiologic experience; working knowledge of public health surveillance systems. Experience using Excel and other data management tools.
The Evaluation Specialist III will conduct and coordinate all AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) related surveillance related activities; participate in the quarterly match between ADAP and HIV surveillance data; analyze and report results of the match; develop and maintain the protocol for rapid access to surveillance data; develop and disseminate routine BHAE HIV surveillance data and special reports; develop and implement HIV/AIDS epidemiological research studies; and other related duties.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
