Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field and two years of experience providing technical support and assistance; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
The incumbent in this position may be required to work after-hours, evenings and/or weekends to limit interruption to daily business.

The Technical Support Specialist II will troubleshoot and provide technical support to the cloud, physical and virtual infrastructure in order to support the ongoing public health measures for Wadsworth systems for laboratory testing. The incumbent will join a team responsible for the design and documentation of storage and virtualization infrastructure. The incumbent will also contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of systems including migration projects from deprecated to modern technologies; maintain access to the Wadsworth storage and virtualization infrastructure at Wadsworth work sites and perform other appropriate related duties as assigned.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available.
