Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join Wadsworth Center’s Division of Environmental Health Sciences. The incumbent will work on the Food Emergency Response Network (FERN) program. FERN is a grant funded federal program established to monitor foods for toxic compounds, providing an early means of detecting threat agents in the American food supply.
The incumbent will assist with extraction and analysis of toxic organic chemicals in foods using Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and liquid chromatography coupled tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
