The Evaluation Specialist III will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing COVID-19 surveillance in Suffolk County. The incumbent will conduct and support epidemiological investigations, develop and execute evaluation strategies to monitor the quality and completeness of COVID-19 surveillance data; perform analyses of COVID-19 surveillance data and other relevant data sources to identify trends and clusters of significance to assist in COVID-19 response and disease control efforts; and generate reports to evaluate data quality; develop performance measures to evaluate the accuracy of data collected by surveillance staff and makes recommendations to improve data collection, entry, and management to ensure the highest level of data quality.
