The Program Research Specialist will be responsible for Medical Monitoring Project data maintenance and monitoring, developing reports, data quality assurance, quality control, transmission and analysis of the data, as well as participant recruitment, medical record abstraction and training activities; and, other appropriate related duties.
The Health Program Administrator I will work in the AIDS Institute's Office of Administration and Contract Management. The incumbent will coordinate the data management and analysis of fiscal and contract related data, work within the Office Contract Management System (CMS), which is a SQL Server/VB.net database application and manage an office SharePoint site. The incumbent will also develop various service, funding and contract related reports for internal and external parties. The incumbent will also be responsible for fiscal oversight of a set of contracts, perform funding-related activities and supervise staff. Other appropriate related duties as assigned.
The Program Research Specialist II will work within the Division's Bureau of Child Health in the School Health Unit (SHU) to support the evaluation of grant activities. The incumbent will be responsible for the collection and evaluation of data related to tele-mental health service utilization at school-based health centers (SBHCs). The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing monitoring of program activities and providing technical assistance to SBHC staff. This position will assist with other relevant work of the Division and Bureau.
The Assistant Research Scientist will assist with performing all aspects of infectious disease diagnosis including but not limited to animal necropsy, fixing, staining, and reading slides. The position will also include molecular diagnosis and typing of positive viral samples including rabies, performing serology virus neutralization tests for evidence of rabies antibody, recording and tracking results in laboratory database, preparing and maintaining cell culture media, and maintaining cultures of cells used for viral culture. The incumbent will also perform routine laboratory housekeeping, making common stock and working solutions, and assisting with the laboratory inventory. This position will also contribute to public health priorities such as response to COVID-19. Other related laboratory duties as assigned.
The Program Research Specialist III will work within the Bureau of Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology, Center for Environmental Health. The incumbent will join a team of public health professionals to work on CDC cooperative agreements for wastewater surveillance activities. The incumbent will provide program coordination, coordinate data collection and database management; contribute to problem definition, planning, and execution of wastewater/sewershed surveillance; analyze and summarize data to interpret results; analyze and prepare data for CDC reporting, internal reports, presentations, posters, tables, charts, and graphs; and work with senior staff to develop presentations for stakeholders and the public. Other related duties as assigned.
The Software Engineer/Developer will join Wadsworth Center's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) team. The incumbent will join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of LIMS modules for Advanced Molecular Detection. Responsibilities will include the use of Oracle SQL and Python to merge data generated by data scientists with information captured in LIMS. The incumbent will contribute to the development and maintenance of applications and processes, and assist in the coordination of implementing new or improved functionality and keeping regulatory compliance. The incumbent will perform other appropriate related duties.
The Program Research Specialist II will monitor hepatitis B and C surveillance data quality and completeness; perform data analyses, contribute to developing strategies to increase the completeness and timeliness of surveillance data, and develop surveillance data reports under the CDC’s Integrated Viral Hepatitis Surveillance and Prevention grant. The incumbent will support the statewide data surveillance, investigation, and control activities for legionellosis as part of the CDC-funded Epidemiology and Laboratory apacity (ELC) Program. The incumbent will also contribute to manuscript preparation related to outbreak and cluster investigations and perform other appropriate related duties.
The Assistant Health Education Outreach Specialist will provide assistance in support of the coordination and implementation of outreach and education deliverables between the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) Outreach and Education Group and Bureau programs. The individual will support CDC sponsored projects related to Climate and Health & Environmental Public Health Tracking within the Bureau of Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology. This individual will assist with the preparation of educational materials, messaging, information graphics, distribution plans, and other appropriate related duties as needed.
The Program Research Specialist I will assist with the statewide coordination of surveillance, investigation and control activities as part of the CDC-funded Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Program. The incumbent will assist with communicable disease surveillance activities across the State (including but not limited to COVID and other respiratory diseases that may be mistaken for COVID), assist with quality improvement and performance management activities. The incumbent will collect data and will be responsible for entering and assisting in the analysis of the data in DOH-developed software packages, as well as commercial software packages to determine clusters and trends.
The Health Program Administrator II will be responsible for management of the Ryan White Part B grant, with primary responsibility for writing all appropriate grant-related documents including progress reports. Responsibilities will also include analyzing and ensuring compliance with conditions of the Ryan White award; providing policy interpretation to staff and providers; overseeing the development and maintenance of data collection policies and procedures to oversee and ensure consistency and quality in data collection and reporting for Ryan White Part B grant funded programs; overseeing the coordination of meetings with stakeholders as part of the Ryan White grant reporting requirements; contributing to strategic planning activities; overseeing the coordination of special projects related to the development of various Ryan White Part B grant-related documents; and other appropriate related duties as assigned.
The Secretary I will provide administrative and secretarial support for the Center for Community Health (CCH) Executive Office CDC COVID-19 Health Disparities Program. Responsibilities will include: coordinating schedules and calendar; assisting with processing Executive Deputy Clearance (EDC’s), Internet/Publication Request Forms (IPR’s) and other formal correspondence/documents; and perform other secretarial related duties as assigned.
